Position(s):       HEAD VARSITY GIRLS BASKETBALL COACH

 

Qualifications:   - In-depth knowledge of basketball techniques and strategies. 

                             - Ability to demonstrate and instruct fundamental basketball developmental drills and

                               skills. 

                             - Experience in development and delivery of strength and conditioning programs. 

                             - Head varsity girls basketball coaching experience preferred.

                             - Experience in development of youth level programs and in providing program

                               visibility.

                             - Knowledge and use of computer technology in educational programming and

                               management is preferred.

                             - Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.  Ability to accept and delegate

                               responsibility.

                             - Demonstrated administrative, personnel skills, including the ability to plan, organize,

                               budget, lead and communicate effectively.

                             - Demonstrated ability to work productively with administration, faculty, parents,

                               students and community.

 

Basic Function: Provide leadership and direction for the entire girls’ basketball program.  Coordinate

                             school basketball programs with youth level programs, establish and oversee strength

                             and conditioning program for basketball players in the system.  Work closely with the

                             Athletic Director to deliver a successful basketball program.
