Position(s):       JV Softball Coach

Qualifications:  

1. In-depth knowledge of softball techniques and strategies. 

2. Ability to demonstrate and instruct fundamental of catching, throwing, and hitting. 
3. Experience in development and oversight of strength and conditioning programs. 
4. Experience in development of youth level programs and in providing program visibility.
5. Knowledge and use of computer technology in educational programming and management is preferred.
6. Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.  Ability to accept and delegate responsibility.
7. Demonstrated administrative, personnel skills, including the ability to plan, organize, budget, lead and communicate effectively.
8. Demonstrated ability to work productively with administration, faculty, parents, students, and community.

Basic Function:        

Provide leadership and direction for the softball program.  Be able to help coordinate school level programs with other agency programs.  Develop opportunities for athletes to be exposed to, acquire and demonstrate on demand speed and quickness techniques in their chosen sport.  Provide leadership at appropriate coaching level.  Work in conjunction with head coach and Athletic Director to develop and deliver a successful program.
